Nothing Personal

Cover blurb:
What the hell now?
That’s what Rosa Kelly wants to know.
She just lost her day job.
She just lost her back-up job.
She just lost her boyfriend to a club-hopping hoochie mama.
And her best friend just picked up and moved to Miami.

What’s a jobless, friendless, dead broke, suddenly single working girl to do?

She nabs an unexpected job offer from a tabloid king, who’s got an agenda of his own...

But Rosa turns out to be a natural, using brains, bravado, motorcycles, wigs, fake IDs, ladders, zoom lenses, hang-gliders (and the occasional car-jacking) to bring back the hottest stories of the year.

Sizzle magazine’s newest tabloid baby is finally on an unbeatable winning streak--and finally in control of her life again.

Then she falls in love with the biggest pop star in America--and that’s when things get really complicated.

Who do you trust? No one.

The hunter just became the hunted, and Rosa’s got to do some quick thinking to stay one step ahead of her ruthless fellow paparazzi--and the man she loves.

Oh, there’s gonna be a story...Goodbye, Rosa Kelly...

She’s about to find out that when it comes to love, nothing is ever easy.
And betrayal is nothing personal.

Sizzle Extra: Got no soles
It’s been a bad year for Andrew McCavey, who lost best friend Billy D’Angelo and sexy gal pal Sienna Haney, when the cozy Billy-Sienna twosome shacked up for wedded bliss.

Andy’s "lucky" red Miko sneakers, designed and signed personally for him by designer Eriko, were stolen earlier this year.

A fan snatched the sneakers from a Thai restaurant while Andy dined with pals.

“I fucking loved those shoes,” he later moaned to pals. “I had nothing but crap luck after they were stolen.”

Now, Andy’s got even more to moan about!

Seems Andy was missing Sienna so badly, he resorted to trawling web sites about his ex-honey bee. He wound up on BeeBay, looked up Sienna, then casually typed in his own name.

Only to find one of his school sweaters, a baseball hat, and the pair of red Miko sneakers on auction to the highest bidder!

“I can’t believe they stole my shoes and put them on BeeBay,” a furious Andy raved to friends. “What the hell is that? Where’s the respect?”

Insiders tell us Andy wasn’t taken aback by the stolen shoes; fans steal props from the set of Lost in the 90s all the time.

He just couldn’t believe the gall the sneaker-snatcher had in putting the shoes online. What really got him, insiders said, was the fact that the high bid was a measly $14 for Andy’s $850 pair of shoes, while an autographed Billy D’Angelo picture went for $150!

“That’s just adding insult to injury,” cranky Andy said. “On top of making me bid for my own stolen shoes.”

Friends advised him to call a lawyer to legally retrieve his footsies.

“I can’t,” he said. “I’m too depressed.”
